The Griffith 400 introduced the 'Manx' tail with MKI Cortina rear lights. In its time the Griffith's performance was astounding, it's still pretty impressive today. Most Griffiths were shipped to the States minus engine and gearbox. None were sold in the UK till 1965.

In the USA they were simply known as Griffiths. Many cars were raced to the great embarassment of various Cobras and Ferraris.
